Photo day.

friend and I spent a few weeks planning, organizing and scheming up a party...
A party for fellow dslr owners, for people who wanted to learn.give advice and have a fun morning.
:) It started with these cute invitations (made by Jill), making cupcakes, preparing the party etc....

The front.
 The back.
And, cute envelopes to boot! :D (I love the "handle with care" stamp!
I scrounged around on pinterest and found some ideas...but I didn't find what I was lookin for, so... I came up with something myself. I used film negatives as toppers!
White cupcakes with cream icing.
We used vintage suitcases to mark the way.
We found another use for negatives... Make arrows!
We decorated the table with vintage cameras and fresh flowers.

Pretty paper straws to sip on!
Fresh flowers!
We spread out quilts.

Our menu:

We sat on quilts by a beautiful river. :) Thanks Barb for letting us use your place!
Little guys like straws too!
Sweet lil miss!
